welcome to my blog
Kenneth Brock, that is me. I spend my days blogging and I figured I would share some things while I am doing it... So basically that is all there is.

My son Jeremy is having problems adjusting to life in Tennessess so I anticipate he will be back in this state very soon. I knew when he moved he would be coming back, but apparently he doesn’t want to move in with me. I have no idea what he plans to do, but he still owes many people down here money so he will have to sleep with one eye open.

I found out today that a lot of the stories my son had been telling me about his finances were untrue. Apparently, the robberies he was a victim of were all fabricated. He was just out money because of drug deals gone bad and other expenses to other people. When he left the state, almost everyone I knew had a tab up on him. If he ever comes into hard times again, he won’t have anyone to reach out to for help.

My daughter has been planning to be married for quite some time. I have been denying it, but I must admit my little girl is growing up. It was humbling, but fun, to look at all the exciting possibilities for wedding dresses. Instead of going to some retail store and sitting around for hours as she tried on dresses, I looked at gowns from my home with TheBridalShop.com. Look at the beautiful dress she picked out:

Wedding Dress

I really like this style of wedding dress from the “Essence of Australia” collection. It isn’t overly flowly, but silky and elegant. It really is a chic and modern dress fit for any new age wedding. It will fit so perfectly with my daughter and her husband to be!

I am sitting here watching the Colts and Bears playing in a pre-season Monday Night Football game. It got me to thinking about last season and the upcoming one. Last year, my daughter Jessica got me hooked up with two sets of tickets. I am not sure she’ll be able to do that again this year. I was lucky enough to be in attendance for one of Tampa Bay’s four wins. Hopefully I can watch them put together a playoff caliber season from the comfort of my sofa.

I really am glad my sister has been out of work the past few weeks with her arm injury. Not that I’m glad she’s hurt or missing work, it just means we gte more time to hang out. This weekend we both went to see the Cleveland Indians beat our beloved Devil Rays. Tomorrow I guess we are going to go see a movie with my daughter Jessica and nephew Jamie. I suppose we’ll go to the place in town that has the first class airline seats that rock back and forth. Those things are awfully comfortable. I love my family.
