welcome to my blog
Kenneth Brock, that is me. I spend my days blogging and I figured I would share some things while I am doing it... So basically that is all there is.

I was looking at different luxury watch brands on Wikipedia and I stumbled across the page for Hublot. It looks like the company wrote the article, as it was not very objective. Nonetheless, I was impressed with the watches. The faces are artfully crafted and they take advantage of rubber bands. The unique look was rather intriguing. I guess their flagship model is known as the Hublot big bang. It was very decorative. I wonder how much they are charging for these things?

I can remember the death of my grandmother back in the eighties like it was yesterday. I was in the midst of one of my biggest regrets - marriage. Ex didn’t even want to come to the funeral. My grandma had been in failing health for a while, but she could have still kept on going for another few years had she chosen to. Most of us agree, though, that she resigned herself to her fate and went on her own terms. She left behind just enough religious jewelry to pay her final expenses, and that was that.

My mother had to go without a lot of things when she was working two jobs and going to school. The thing we missed most as kids is the food. We had to go without food sometimes, but more often than not, we just ended up with cheap processed food like hot dog chunks over stale Kraft macaroni and cheese. Sometimes she got a day off and we got lucky enough to be treated to some pork chops. Since she cooked them southern style, she had to ask Kiwanis for some used cisco just to grease the pan.

I am so glad I’m getting ready to go up to West Virginia in a couple of days. It will be a relaxing change of pace from sitting around here all the time. I was so angry when I learned my plane tickets would no longer be valid after having spent a bunch of time in the hospital - oh well. I guess ‘ll just default on the loan Jamie gave me like I do with everything else. Maybe one day, when I’m a doctor, I will take him on a series of cruises to make up for it.

I sure hope nothing comes between me and my bowling adventure this year. Last year, a trip to the hospital robbed me of my trip to Reno for the tournament. This year, I will be headed to Las Vegas, God willing, to bowl for money. I really could use the money, but my skills have diminished sharply since I lost my foot. Anyway, I am not going to book the Las Vegas hotels right away. I am looking to win a free room before I put down any money.
