Let’s see what happened today… Oh, yes. I spent the morning in my medical technician class while half of my class skipped for the day. I can remember doing such things in high school, but I am showing up for something I spent several thousand dollars on, I can assure you that! We practiced removing stitches from chicken’s feet. Then, I went over to my mother’s house to pick up my mail and saw Jamie’s Room again. He has this air freshener and a poster on his door called “Mind Molecules.” He’s a weird individual.

Next week, the Devil Rays are giving away a cool Delmon Young figurine. You all may remember Delmon Young as the gentleman who threw his bat at an umpire in a minor league game, garnering a 50 game suspension. He has since proven himself at the Major League level, leading all rookies in many offensive categories. I will see if my nephew Jamie and his girlfriend will go with me to get this piece of history, which is available to the first 15,000 fans.

I really am glad my sister has been out of work the past few weeks with her arm injury. Not that I’m glad she’s hurt or missing work, it just means we gte more time to hang out. This weekend we both went to see the Cleveland Indians beat our beloved Devil Rays. Tomorrow I guess we are going to go see a movie with my daughter Jessica and nephew Jamie. I suppose we’ll go to the place in town that has the first class airline seats that rock back and forth. Those things are awfully comfortable. I love my family.

I feel just like a tool sometimes. After all, the only time anyone calls me seems to be when they need something. It turns out my nephew Jamie saw in the Sunday ads a futon he wanted went on sale for $99 at Target, so of course I had to use my big Crown Victoria to help him bring the box home…

I don’t know what got into my nephew Jamie the other day, but he actually cleaned his room. I’m not talking like he shoved a bunch of stuff under the bed, I mean he legitimately cleaned every square inch of the room without encouragement or drug use. I have to admit it looks really good in there, but it’d look a lot better with a futon from Target. It won’t fit, but it’d be nice if it did.
