Kenneth Brock, that is me. I spend my days blogging and I figured I would share some things while I am doing it... So basically that is all there is.

Back before my foot problems, my average in the Wednesday night men’s league was about 200. Now, it’s dipped about 20 pins to 180. I guess I’ll have to continue learning how to bowl with half a foot if I want to get back to my glory days. Then, they could show my amazing story of triumph on ESPN alongside Lance Armstrong. I had what he had plus diabetes, so I have had a lot more to overcome.

It seems like a long while since I have been in the hospital, but it’s only been a few months since my last visit. I can’t stand getting bills for doctors and procedures I never remember seeing or getting. This one doctor charged me three hundred dollars to come into my room and talk down to me. I also had to pay a hundred for having a test done with a pulse oximeter. I am glad I still have insurance for a few more months!

A lot of people live every day with some degree of mental instability, from ADHD to psychosis. Personally, I suffer from ADHD and am thankful there are internet resources like Therapist Finder to seek the help of local Philadelphia Psychologists. There are a lot of sites out there claiming to connect you to the best therapists - but Therapist Finder was the first, founded in 1996. To this day, they continue to have the best quality and most innovative therapist finder on the internet. See if you can find help in your area, wherever it may be, today!

There has been one painful thing I have had to watch nearly my whole life, and it’s my brother’s alcohol problem. Every once in a while, a drink or two is perfectly acceptable, but there comes a time when it gets to be too much. Last season when we bowled together, he depended on alcohol to perform. It was no longer a mere intoxicant, it was now part of the fiber of his being. It has been sad watching his destructive behavior for the majority of my life, but luckily he has found a good wife that cares about him. That was the first step, the next was finding alcohol treatment for more support. Though there is still room for improvement, I am really proud of the progress my brother has made towards finally kicking his dependency on alcohol. Places like the Watershed provide affordable help to such individuals and others like him that have chemical dependencies. If you or someone you know has a problem, check with the Watershed to see how you can help today.

I have been wearing glasses for as long as I can remember. There are very few pictures anybody has of me without them. At this point in my life, they’ve become part of me. I have always thought glasses aged you, so I have always had the idea of Lasik surgery in the back of my mind. When I saw the resources made available by USAEyes, a nonprofit refractive surgery advocacy group, it got me to thinking again about having the surgery. The technology is better than ever, as more and more patients turn to Lasik to correct their vision. If you are interested in losing those glasses or contacts forever, get primed to see your ophthalmologist by looking over the information provided by USAEyes.
