If something were to happen to me, my kids would get a ton of money. I took full advantage of life insurance benefits from the many jobs I’ve had, and many policies are still valid. If I die, my children will be well taken care of and I always like to joke with them that I’d be worth more to them dead than alive. This is at least half true. However, as I get older I find it harder and harder to find new coverage, as if I needed more. I wonder how hard it is to get life insurance for senior citizens?

You know, in my younger days I never gave two thoughts to donate car. When I had a piece of junk, and I went through many, I would often sell it for scrap metal. Of course, cars today aren’t even made with metal so they are valueless as scrap. That is why I found you can save a bunch of tax money writing off donated cars. I found out about this place that makes Jesus videos out of money they get from junk cars. What better way to bring the message of Jesus to little kids? With Dora the Explorer and everything else abound these days, I am glad there is a bilingual Christian option.

Here is a great video I found by someone on YouTube. They actually took the time to animate this video frame by frame to make Cartman look like Terrence and Phillip. In it, he is singing one of the greatest songs from the greatest band of all time, Styx. It is significant to me because the character Cartman on South Park reminds me of my nephew Jamie. A little hellion that does nothing but cause trouble and manipulate people. Of course, Styx is my favorite band. The artist is credited at the beginning of the video:

It has been a while since I posted anything from the golden era of music, so I will let you guys listen to a classic track from Foreigner called Hot Blooded. I only name the song as a courtesy to younger or older readers who may not be familiar with the brilliance of Foreigner. This song was aptly named, because listening to it once will get your blood pressure up, or maybe it’s just my notoriously bad health.

If you are like me, you enjoy going out every once in a while to play a round of golf. Living in Florida, I am lucky enough to play golf all year long. I have a pretty low handicap, but there’s always room for improvement. That is when I got interested in shaping my golf swing from home. There’s lots of gimmicky golf equipment to improve your scores, but nothing is quite like the online golf lessons you can get from Two Minute Golf Pro. Check out this website for yourself, golfers of all levels will find something of interest.
