Kenneth Brock, that is me. I spend my days blogging and I figured I would share some things while I am doing it... So basically that is all there is.

When I was picking up my prescriptions at Walgreens, I noticed a whole section dedicated to just diet pills. Everywhere you look, diet pills. Surprisingly, most of the consumers of duet pills aren’t even fat. My daughter, for example. She is probably underweight for her height, yet she insists that she is fat and constantly looks at lists of the top diet pills. I keep assuring her there is no need, but she won’t listen to me, being a fat man myself.

I have two sports in which I compete: bowling and pool. I am pretty decent at both, as they are both physically easy and mentally challenging. In pool, especially on my league, it is about precision and repetition. You have to know the angles. Physical dexterity is not a requirement, however good hand-eye coordination is. The same extends to bowling. While a little more physical, a great deal of it is still mental. Not letting anything get to you as you strive to throw the same ball at the same mark every single time. I enjoy both sports and both keep me mentally and physically sharp. Both of their respective equipment needs are not that large either. When you are talking about billiard supplies, all you really need is a stick. That’s it! You can go all out and get braces and practice devices, even your own personal table but at the end of the day the only requirement is a stick. You don’t even have to get a stick, if you are content using the warped bar sticks. The very same applies to bowling. outside of the ball, there are few requirements. Sure, some of the pros have multiple balls, complicated braces and shoes, the whole nine yards. However, these are by no means required. You can also get away with using nothing in bowling, but you’ll learn fast that alley balls are not the way to go.

I am excited about this year’s annual bowling tournament. The last time I got to go, it was held in Corpus Cristi, Texas. Not exactly the most stunning of locales, but it was alright. The last few years, I have missed Reno and Salt Lake City due to health problems. This year, if all goes well, I should make it to Las Vegas for the tournament. The only trick is finding a suitable hotel in Vegas. For someone like me, it isn’t a problem because they have me on the rolodex of big spenders.
