Have you ever seen those commercials for the adjustable beds that feature different levels of firmness? Personally, I have gotten so used to sleeping on the couch, I just find it much more relaxing and comfortable. My trip to Ohio was marred by having to sleep on beds. I mean, they may be comfortable but I am just used to couches, as I’ve been on them since my disastrous marriage. She ruined my credit, if I hadn’t mentioned it before.

I recently got a game system for Christmas. I just now got around to hooking it up. I must say I was impressed by how fun the Xbox 360 is. I was given a used system and the game “Halo 3″ which I can take online with people. I am getting pretty good as it. I keep picking up this weapon called the plasma cutter, which I use to decapitate my virtual enemies. Sometimes I really wish I had a life!

I hope I don’t get old enough to have to experience senior living. I am forty-five and I already feel like an old man. What really makes me angry, though, is age discrimination. I was sitting here watching The Price is Right this morning and saw more of those diabetes commercials for people age 65 and over. What? Since I’m not 65, I’m supposed to have money or not have diabetes? That’s age discrimination in my opinion!

It’s the New Year, and many people’s resolutions include adopting a greener lifestyle. Not only is it liberating to get off the grid of big energy, it also helps the environment. After all, until they learn how to inhabit the moon, this is the only planet we have to work with. Other than energy independence and greener lifestyles, there is more that can be done. Green companies are now making it easier than ever to go green. What could be more American that a capitalistic grab for green? I’m not talking about trees, either! Places like GreenandMore.com blue the distinction between money green and earth green by selling plenty of green products for consumers. From organic items to environmentally friendly necessities, they have everything you need to adopt a new lifestyle.

This is a company that walks the walk when it comes to being environmentally friendly. Even their headquarters feature green products, such as green toilet paper and office supplies. If you are serious about supporting the green movement, then go with a company that knows what it’s doing. If you are considering going green this year, check out the products and services offered by GreeandMore, as well as their community involvement.

I recently went on vacation and the trip highlighted my extreme need for new luggage sets. I have this generic black bag that hardly holds a week’s worth of clothes. I have having to check in multiple bags for long trips, plus my bags look like everyone else’s. At the baggage claim, I always have to check every single name tag. I once ended up with some old lady luggage in Dayton, Ohio.
