I sure hope nothing comes between me and my bowling adventure this year. Last year, a trip to the hospital robbed me of my trip to Reno for the tournament. This year, I will be headed to Las Vegas, God willing, to bowl for money. I really could use the money, but my skills have diminished sharply since I lost my foot. Anyway, I am not going to book the Las Vegas hotels right away. I am looking to win a free room before I put down any money.

My daughter has lost her apartment for some unknown reason and has decided to come live with me for a while. I still have an extra bedroom where my son used to reside before I kicked him to the curb. Anyway, she is taking a trip to North Carolina on a cheap airline. She is going to spend Christmas with her family up there in Wilmington. As if her mom hadn’t taken enough from me, I now hear she is living the high life from playing the Wilmington NC real estate game correctly and earning a ton of money.

My uncle owns a car lot in Florida. He sells those like-new vehicles that have already taken the depreciation from being new. They usually have under 50,000 miles and are in good condition. Anyway, his area forced him to speak Spanish or go under, so he hired a couple of bilingual salesmen and made his TV spots with the help of a subtitle service that translated the commercial and added subtitles to attract Spanish car buyers.
